• OPTIMALLY INTERCONNECTED POROSITY:
CAMCERAM® offers an optimal, interconnected porosity of 90% (pores from 100-500 µm). This supports optimal cellular penetration and strongly encourages the implant's integration inside the bone tissue. Unlike other materials, the size of the pores of CAMCERAM® is extremely reproducible!!

• PURITY OF OUR MATERIALS:
CAMCERAM® is produced from the purest forms of calcium phosphates.

• A UNIQUE COMPOSITION:
CAMCERAM® is not just a mixture of hydroxyapatite and tri-calcium phosphate, unlike most other biphasic calcium phosphate. With a mixture there is no control of the exact distribution of hydroxyapatite and beta tri-calcium phosphate. We produce hydroxyapatite and beta tri-calcium phosphate in one process, resulting in one new homogeneous molecule. This offers the advantage that both hydroxyapatite and beta tri-calcium phosphate are equally distributed over CAMCERAM® without clustering. Due to this composition, the risk for cavities or fibrous ingrowth has been reduced to almost nil.
