Cam Bioceramics was one of the pioneers in synthetic biomaterial development and bone graft substitute technology. Today this pioneering spirit is reflected in Cam's relentless quest for new bioceramic materials and the ongoing development of new medical applications.
As a spin-off from Leiden University (LUMC), Cam Bioceramics is rooted in science and was the first company to offer calcium hydroxyapatite coatings. We have been at the forefront of high quality coating technology ever since.
Cam Bioceramics is constantly developing new products, often together with the major players in the biomaterials and orthopaedic markets. They call on us for our expertise, knowledge and our ability to develop products and testing methods that meet the vigorous standards governing the medical industry today.
Cam Bioceramics closely cooperates with universities around the world and participates in innovative European Union projects, pushing the frontiers in bioceramics.
